Millicent Cummings received a BFA in Fine Art from Parsons School of Design in NYC back in 1990. She has practiced and taught art and music since then through venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC Police Athletic League, San Fransisco Academy of Art University, Kaua'i Academy of the Creative Arts, Rainbow Academy, YWCA and numerous other learning environments. She is an award wining singer, songwriter and performer having composed over 400 songs and a recording artist, having released 5 CD's on her own music label.
Cummings has shown her visual work in group and one-woman exhibitions across the country and was curator and proprietor of her own gallery on Kaua'i called Gallery M. She has been involved as an actress in productions like the internationally acclaimed, Vagina Monologues, improv comedy troops and videos, as well as hosting her own radio program called 'Kaua'i Live” on KKCR, along with numerous television programs for Hoike and Olelo Communtiy Television.
